Gater Grapples Pipe Grapple

Gater Grapples model PC-01 Mini Pipe Grapple is designed to handle small diameter pipe ranging in size from 2" to 8" and weighing up to 800 lbs. The grapple features 360 degree continuous rotation and 45 degree articulation in either direction to provide ultimate control of the tool and material. The PC-01 Grapple comes complete with a multi-funciton valve, and in-cab controls and wiring, including one joystick with 4 buttons and a 2-way trigger.

Model 02
Gater Grapples Spider Grapple

The Arborist's Friend ... The AG12 Articulating Grapple is a remote controlled, multi-functioning hydraulic grapple equipped with a chain saw that allows arborists to prune trees safely and productively from the ground. Using hand held remote controls, the operator is able to step away from the machine to gain the greatest perspective on the work at hand. Then, controlling both the boom and grapple, he takes advantage of the 360 degree rotation plus 180 degrees of horizontal and vertical articulation to position the grapple anywhere on the tree, limited only by the boom's vertical reach. By activating a few more switches, he grabs, holds, saws and discards the limb while maintaining control of the cut piece. The grapple opens to 12 inches and closes down to 1-1/2 inches. The 16 inch chain saw is capable of making a 12 inch deep cut. The AG12 is designed for use on trailer mounted work platforms with articulating booms and typically 45 - 60 feet of vertical reach.

Gater Grapple Hurricane
for 1.5 ton to 4.5 ton machines

A very light weight (about 150 lbs) but very versatile grapple with a 360 degree continuous rotation. It's a multi-functional bypass type grapple with valve in head (optional). It also has an optional saw attachment see saw attachment below.

A light weight (about 800 lbs) grapple built for 7.5 ton to 14 ton machines. Model 02b also available and weighs 900 lbs. Both have 360 degree continuous rotation and are a multi-functional clam type - not bypass grapple. Options include valve in head and a saw attachment see saw attachment below.

Gater Grapple for 15 to 16 ton machines

This light weight grapple does the work of a heavy weight grapple. The multifunctional clam style grapple can swivel a full 360 degrees and comes with a few different options; an in head valve, a saw attachment, and/or a quick attach set up. The light weight design makes this grapple only about 2,300 pounds.

Gater Grapples Dual Pipe Grapple

Dual Pipe Grapple is designed to handle two pipes simultaneously - one inside of the other. Two sets of hydraulic arms provide independent control of each pipe. The grapple features 360 degree continuous rotation and 90 degrees of side-to-side articulation (45 degrees from vertical) giving the operator precision control of the load. All four clamping cylinders are equipped with lock valves. The grapple will handle pipe ranging in size from 2in to 28in and is suitable for excavators in the 15T to 22T class. The Dual Pipe Grapple comes complete with a multi-function valve located in the head and controls and wiring for the cab.

Gater Grapple Lok Blok Manipulator

The Lok Blok Manipulator gives the excavator operator complete control when loading, unloading, installing, or placing 4000 pound concrete lok bloks. The center mounted hook hydraulically opens and spring closes. When closed the hook mechanically locks onto the attaching point of the block the operator lowers the stabilizers. The operator can slew the lok blok from side to side, 45 degrees each way from center and rotate it a full, continuous 360 degrees. All functions have lock valves. All operations are performed by the operator with no outside help is needed, making for a much safer and more efficient workplace.

Gater Grapples Excavator Mounted Rotating Concrete & Asphalt Saw

Rotating Concrete & Asphalt Saw is ideal for contractors and municipalities engaged in underground utility work, road and parking lot maintenance, driveway, sidewalk and foundation repair. It is suitable for compact excavators and backhoes in the 15 to 35 HP range. Working from the comfort and safety of the cab, the operator commands an 18in blade capable of making a 7.5in deep cut in concrete or asphalt. Depth control rollers are adjusted electrically. The compact design of the RCS18 allows it to cut within 3 inches of a vertical wall; and with 360 degrees of rotation. Cab controls are equipped with an RPM Monitoring System allowing the operator to make necessary adjustments to the feed rate. A 35 gallon water reservoir with electric pump provides cooling and lubrication for the blade.

Gater Grapples Skid Steer Mounted Concrete & Asphalt Saw

Gater Grapples' new CS240 skid steer mounted Concrete and Asphalt Saw is the ideal attachment for contractors and municipalities engaged in underground utility work, road and parking lot maintenance, driveway, sidewalk and foundation repair. Working from the comfort and safety of the cab, the operator commands a 24" diamond blade capable of making a 10.5" deep cut in concrete or asphalt. A 25 gallon water tank with electric pump provides cooling and lubrication for the blade. To assist the operator in maintaining the proper blade speed, the cab controls are equipped with an RPM Monitoring System allowing the operator to make necessary adjustments to the feed rate/travel speed. The CS240 features 24 inches of horizontal travel to position the saw close to curbs and foundation walls.

Model 14
Gater Grapples Boom Stick Auger

The BSA100 Auger from Gater Grapples is ideal for boring multiple size holes in wood, digging post holes and other applications. It was initially designed to drill holes in log booms and sticks used to prevent debris from entering the spillway of power generation dams. The boom incorporates 120 degrees of rotation for vertical or horizontal positioning and 48in of stroke. The unit's control system gives the operator complete control of the tool speed (rpm), feed rate and boom rotation. With the push of a button, the operator can quickly change tool bits. A hydraulically actuated spike stabilizes the tool by anchoring it to the material being bored.

The BSA100 is suitable for loader backhoes, skid steers, excavators and tractor-loaders in the 20-30 HP class.

Gater Grapple Buncher
for 60 hp to 100 hp machines

A buncher that's built to attach to a skid steer weighs only 1600 pounds. The Model 04 can handle up to a 16 inch tree and can tilt 20 degrees in both directions. It cuts with a 404 harvester bar and chain.

Gater Grapples Metal Shear

Gater Grapples Metal Shear 16 inch jaws will open to 16 inches. It has a 180 degree side to side swivel for better visibility. There is no hydraulic feedback to the excavator and the excavator needs to produce 35 gallons a minute oil flow and 2200 psi working psi. This metal shear has adjustable auto step on open and shear jaws are lined with replaceable and turn able knives. Knives can be turned up to 4 times. It will cut class 8 truck frames and it cuts up to 2 ½ inch diameter solid round bar.

This amazing High Lead Grapple is powered by a Kubota diesel engine with a load sense piston pump. It has continuous rotation and only weighs about 1500 pounds. It is radio controlled by the opperater. The graple opens to 10 feet and closes to 4 inches.
